Kristen's Corner - Spring w/a Moxie Buyer

Spring is here! I love this time of year when everything changes including the wardrobe. This Spring at Moxie, we are excited to introduce many new fabulous designers and embrace chic Spring trends. What follows are a few of my favorites:

70's Inspired: I'm loving Kors by Michael Kors' "Dorothy" ($275) cork-bottom platform sandal. Kors designed an easy way to embrace the 70's spirit for Spring/Summer. It looks fashion-forward with wide-leg pants/jeans and flowery, peasant style tops. Or try with a cream/off-white dress (another fabulous trend - lots of nudes/whites) and a color pop of jewelry and neutral clutch. These sandals are comfortable and fun and can be dressed up or down to make a head-turning statement!

Sophisticated Party Chic: I have fallen for our new Badgley Mischka "Dreamy" ($225) heels in nude. This is our Sex and the City shoe, without a doubt! Paired with a little black dress or lively print these are by far my favorite party shoe of the season - and the best part is that they go with everything. Truly a dream!

Color Block: We've embraced the trend with Leifsdottir's "Ilona" wooden platform sandal ($328). I adore this two-tone creation! Chic, sophisticated and so very unique, "the Ilona," can be dressed up or down and is perfect to punctuate a casual day to eve look .

Winter In Wellesley

February already! Where have the months gone?

It was a busy and rewarding holiday season for Moxie. We enjoyed hearing about your holidays, your New Year's Resolutions and your plans for 2011.

There was a true sense of spirit & joy during the holiday season. The streets glowed with festive lights, songs of carolers and a feeling of community and harmony. As we settle into our second year on Church Street it is evident how this town is filled with generous, supportive residents and businesses. We are delighted to be a part of it!

Sharing our Fall/Winter collections with our new friends was a rush. We introduced new warm, cozy Jack Rogers boots & mocs (yes they are more than just sandals), we all loved the new Oryany sequin handbags and the cutest-in-the-world Baby Bloch flats. As we buckle down for a bit more snow, a few more cold nights and huge deals on our winter styles we look forward to Spring.

Ahhh Spring - our favorite season! After a long winter is there any better feeling than a pedicure, red toes, new sandals, pumps with peeps, wedges with bows and the promise of beach days to come. We are giddy with anticipation. Look for new designers and styles that will resonate with our savvy customers. House of Harlow, Leifsdottir, and See by Chloe are just a few of the new designers you can expect. Get ready for bold, bright colors, the softest leathers and the perfect accessories to complete your warmer weather wardrobes.
