Extra, Extra, Read All About It!!!

We know it's been too long since we've shared our news with you, our Moxie fans. We've been so busy getting the new store opened, planning and then recovering from our fantastically successful Grand Opening Party, hosting private shopping parties for some fantastic fashionistas, buying for next season...and the list goes on and on. But we wanted to share some of the amazing moments with you. So read on for some of our wonderful Wellesley press coverage.

First up thank you to Kate Bouwer and Fashion Boston for such an amazing article in their April 2009 issue. My interview with Kate was one of the highlights of my press experiences. For those who haven't discovered FB yet this is a go-to publication for all the latest Fashion News in Boston and beyond. A special shout-out to Editor in Chief, Alexandra Hall for continuing to spread the love of all things beautiful. And a big hug and kiss to her patient husband, Mike, who parties like a rock star.

Another huge highlight of our Wellesley press coverage comes from the fabulous Rachel Baker and Boston Magazine. Her May Taking Inventory page featured styles from Moxie and includes information about and a photo of the new store.

Taking Inventory: The Other Shoe Drops
Beacon Hill footwear boutique Moxie steps into the suburbs.
By Rachel Baker

OUR FAVORITE ITEM A departure for the usually classic Tory Burch, these slingbacks with oversize rhinestone embellishments ($425) are more glam than preppy.

WHAT'S SELLING BEST These shimmery linen sandals by cult brand Loeffler Randall ($595) are versatile, with a kick.

COVETED BY THE SHOP CLERK With a devastating heel and luxe rosette accents, the Pandora pumps by up-and-comer Jerome C. Rousseau ($795) make Louboutins seem old hat.

THE LOWDOWN After outfitting the feet of shoppers in Beacon Hill for seven years, Moxie boutique owner Karen Fabbri is taking her footwear fetish west, opening a second location in Wellesley. The girly, 1,000-square-foot shoe parlor—designed by Charles Street neighbor Kristine Irving of Koo de Kir—will house a similarly well-edited selection of pumps, flats, and boots, many of which will be area exclusives, including Tory Burch, Cynthia Vincent, and Loeffler Randall. And on the handbag front, Rafe and Kooba will join an already-stellar roster of favorite brands like Foley + Corinna and Botkier.
